For PoE 3.30 crafts, treat 10c as roughly 10 Chaos Orbs per Divine Orb, not as a guaranteed fill or a fixed craft cost. The Oct 26, 2026, 00:00 observation puts the pair near 10.0 Chaos, while the reported 24-hour band runs about 9.91-11.0. The in-game Currency Exchange should guide the actual decision; players comparing POE currency options should still check the live book before setting a craft budget.

Read the peg as a dated reference

The Forbidden Rites snapshot also lists about 11.8 million Chaos and 1.2 million Divine traded over 24 hours. That volume describes activity across the market; it does not promise that your stack will convert at the headline rate. The seven-day band, about 9.57-11.0 Chaos per Divine, shows why a quote from earlier in the week may no longer suit tonight's budget.

Use the peg to estimate how much Chaos a Divine might represent, then check the pair again when you are ready to trade. If the current book differs from 10.0, use the live figure for your calculation. A dated reference helps with planning, but it cannot reserve an exchange price.

Nearby pairs are separate observations, not substitutes for the Divine-to-Chaos rate. The snapshot lists roughly 610 Exalted per Divine and about 80 Vaal per Divine; treat both as time-stamped comparisons. Do not replace this working peg with Mirror of Kalandra figures from another week.

Check the exchange before spending

Open Currency Exchange, select the Divine Orb and Chaos Orb pair, and read the current book before placing a conversion. Compare the displayed terms with the amount of Chaos your planned craft needs. For a large stack, include Hideout Exchange fees and gold costs in the total rather than treating the quoted pair rate as your full cost.

Keep any Divine already reserved for a known craft. Converting it all to Chaos for the sake of a larger liquid balance can leave you short when that craft is ready. Set the budget from the actual steps you intend to take, and leave a reserve instead of sizing the conversion around a round-number target.

After each bulk conversion, check the Exchange receipt and your remaining Divine balance, then save a screenshot. If the recorded amount or balance differs from your plan, pause before placing another order and recalculate from the current book. A saved receipt also gives squad traders a clear figure to compare.

Keep group comparisons on the same clock

Agree on one observation hour before comparing rates with squadmates. Otherwise, one person may be working from an older 11 Chaos quote while another is using a newer figure near 10. Record the time and the displayed Divine-to-Chaos rate beside each bulk conversion.

Do not use a mirror-drop post or a neighboring currency pair to judge whether your craft budget was sound. Compare the rate and fees that applied when you converted, then check whether the planned craft stayed within that total. If prices move during the session, update the estimate instead of carrying the opening peg forward.

Before your next Forbidden Rites craft, open the Divine/Chaos pair, note the live rate and costs, and keep the Divine needed for any committed craft aside. If you are comparing cheap Path of exile currency options as well, check them against that same live budget before deciding how much Chaos to hold.
